This image is a devotion. To the body. To the earth. To the beauty of becoming.
On a cloudy day in Sintra, Portugal, I came upon a wild flower field near the coast — soft, quiet, untouched. Something in me whispered: what would it feel like to lay here, bare and free, wrapped in flowers?
So I did.
This piece was born from that moment — captured entirely on film, it is a hand-crafted double exposure of my naked body resting in the field, paired with a close-up photograph of a single blue flower I found soon after. The two images merged into one — a gentle collision of skin and petal, body and bloom.
It is a reminder that our bodies are nature. They are not separate from the wild — they are of it. They are worthy of awe, reverence, and love.
The body is a vessel — a working miracle — and this piece is a quiet invitation to treat it as such.
To slow down. To soften. To love ourselves the way the earth loves us — completely, without condition.
